In my opinion and historical knowledge is is the slick talking , smooth, handsome type that get oner on black folks the most.
Tiffany Henyard, although not the first was the first to take advantage of the rules, to bend them almost in half, but just enough that everyone can accuse her but nobody can prove anything.
The junkets she took were also with the boundaries of what she could do, legally, to take advantage legally of the power she had as mayor.
Everyone running around hating on her and they don't even know true corruption. In true corruption, the villains are caught tried and serve a jail sentence. No one In the Dolton or Thornton administration has been officially, and legally charged with with any crimes for corruption of the 2 cities, yet, the mass insanity of the people, because Henyard took advantage of her power is crazy.
This is actually, the only way they could stop her because up until the end, she was too powerful and could not be stopped. This shows the democratic process works, and it shows it can work before there is a single vote.
Remove from the ballot? That is slicker than anything Henyard could have thought of. she probably does have enough votes to be re-elected, only way to stop her is to ensure no one can vote for her. It is actually a political masterstroke.

Well, old girl fought a ton of battles against the political gangs, they sic'd the police on her, the media trashed he name across the earth, and she stood strong against and survive, but little did she know in Thornton, there is the caucus, and so, blindsided, she will not be on the ballot, she is one and done.
Unfair? Perhaps. This Napoleon fellow seems to be pretty smart. So, that salary of $250,000 a year as Thornton supervisor is about to come to an end.
