Better at least charge that dad - he bought the gun and evidently didn't store it away properly or securely. If the kid didn't have dad's gun, none of this would have happened. Mom might not have known dad even bought the gun.

@moggpiano8043 Well, Michigan doesn't, but the parents have been charged with four counts of involuntarily manslaughter now, so I'm relieved to hear they are being held accountable for being such numbskulls, to say the least.

@mikebryant8507 You're the one apparently not paying attention. The school did not "try to stop him". They had a meeting with his parents. Dad bought the gun for himself, not his son; just didn't have it secured properly.
