TheRicokilla Singaporean people don’t even consider themselves Chinese anymore. 300 years after separation from the mainland + British rule and joining with Malaysian Federation until Independence. Just look at all the political disputes between Singapore and China. So how is Singapore “very Chinese-oriented”? They can’t even speak Chinese properly anymore like people from China and Taiwan.

  2. dave choy learn to read. I said they can’t speak it properly. Watch some videos or interviews with Singaporeans trying to speak Mandarin. Pause and stutter every few words and insert random phrases in English/Singlish. Next, compare it with a video of native Taiwanese speaking Mandarin on their variety show/news broadcast. The difference is Heaven and Earth. Singaporeans are not real Chinese.
