well I went through my libertarian phase myself but what I came to understand is that ALL ideology is bad, yes even libertarian ideology. Ideology is a short hand way of having answers to very complex questions that require lots of study to understand. Unfortunately these rote answers do not always make sense. I do think that my own views on most issues is about 80% libertarian but on those few things they are wrong about, they are VERY wrong.

@djrubixcube05jordan31 I don't want to go too far into this on this limited forum but one issue is the libertarian support for open borders and the short sighted economic view of being anti-antitrust. I also remember that just two years ago I had libertarians in my face standing up for social media giants when I suggested that they were in cahoots with government and engaged in government censorship of opponents and ideas. But we now know that is exactly what happened.

I do not think fundamentalists have that kind of power, Even the so called right is pretty much secular now. They of course have some influence but even in the heyday of Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson christians did not vote for other self proclaimed christians, they voted primarily for pocketbook issues.

@justinedse8435 and what about those who work their asses off, lots of overtime, punishing their body and still can't make ends meet because the jobs and wages suck and everything costs much more than it should. Wake the fuck up.
