That is how they want it. It is the Feudal system. A few haves, their enforcers and wannabees, and all the rest of the people living as peasants.

  3.  @PalaniRides  no need to go on jackass, because for every bad thing you mentioned I can list three from california, no place is perfect but we are a hell of a lot better on all of the metrics of quality of life than that place.

  6. You are not very smart are you? you focus on only the size of the economy but back in the 1970's the economic benefits flowed far more toward the average person. Now you have a small handful of ultra wealthy people in silicon valley and a few other places and a shrinking middle class and a huge underclass, Now it is a feudal system. Maybe you are doing ok with your position in the system but it isn't just smoke and mirrors that is causing people to flee your state in record numbers. And no amount of bashing conservatives or left wing good intentions will gloss over that fact that your state is in shambles and your politics are completely banana republic style corrupt.
