The carousel riders, the lying, cheating with your friend, narcissistic and insane behavior, and the girl who tried to baby trap me. The only difference was that they tried to hide it back then, now they brag about it.

The difference is that there were also a fair number of more or less traditional women back then as well. They really no longer exist, or if they do they are already married.

That is the basis for a really good long term marriage. I know what I am talking about because I will be married for 40 years this year. If of course you marry a woman who is already past her best years and especially she has children, you will not get any of that. Those marriages don't last.
