  1. as an older man I would love to mentor younger guys as you described yourself a few years ago. But I don't know how to go about it. I mean I don't want to come off as some sort of predator. I would like to set up some camping seminars, but don't know much about organization.

  3. Every single thing and I mean EVERYTHING ever taught me by so call nutrition experts turned out to be completely wrong. Salt is not bad for you, eggs are not bad for you, meat is not bad for you, natural oils are not bad for you. alcohol in moderation is not bad for you. you should NOT eat a lot of carbs, it is horrible for your body.

  4. very true, and the other side of that coin is that eating all that processed food, and all the sugar and carbs is going to give you diabetes, obesity, heart disease. We have an epidemic of diabetes. I ate way too much carbs and processed food and became a diabetic. it is no fun believe me ! But switching to high protein and fat diet and working out has allowed me to control it with some drugs and I don't have to take insulin.
