  2. I think other factors are more important, like the fact that the rats did not have a natural stimulating environment and didn't have to hunt or scavenge for their food.

  3. I also think that the researchers drew some wrong conclusions from these studies. I think it was not just population density but also two other factors, boredom and lack of work. Work meaning the natural search for food that the animals would have in the wild. By having food given to them, but not having a natural stimulating environment they were basically like people on welfare.

  5.  @gvis8217  well sure, except they don't. you can bash conservatives all you want but the reality for people in the inner cities who do not have jobs is not that they are improving themselves with hobbies, no, they are despondent, in despair, and turn to drugs, gangs, or join weird cults because people need something in their lives.
