That's not quite right. I am a little older than you and yes dating as a teen was always a hard thing for guys unless you were a tall hunk. But before cell phones it was at least possible. Even for really nerdy guys because I was one, and so were my friends and we all had a girlfriend by the time we were seniors. Now in days it seems so much worse for the average guy. I really feel sorry for them.

@Aileen-W In my experience such very rare women are not blinded by things like looks and money (past having enough for an average life). So an average or above average man can get a woman like that. The big problem is that there are so few. What is out there on the dating market today? Obese, Man haters, hoes, crazy as hell, or baby mamas, that accounts for the vast majority.

Where I am from if a kid was shy the older men, usually an Uncle, bought them a hooker just to give them some experience and a little confidence.
