  1. I have been married for 40 years. My wife was never what you would call subservient. But she also never disrespects me, does not nag, and is not combative. But we are from a different generation. I would hate to be a young man in this current dating culture.

  2.  @myronbourne6937  no, she is respectful but she does her own thing, has her own career, friends and hobbies. And sometimes she can be stubborn, Nobody is perfect. But not having to do everything together is part of the reason our marriage works because couples who do everything together get tired of one another before too long.
