  1. I am in Houston too and yes the costs have gone up but what you are maybe not considering is that they have gone up almost everywhere else as well.

Eastern Texas was settled in large part by people who came originally from Tennessee, Kentucky and West Virginia so there was definitely a cultural affinity. Even to the extent that when you speak to native white texans from that region their accent is still similar to a hillbilly accent.

  3. The courts found nothing because they didn't even hear the plaintiffs. and there is a huge amount of circumstantial evidence of vote fraud. Hell man, didn't you know that more people voted than we have registered voters ?

  4. I do not think there are limits to innovation but I think that some problems cannot be overcome by innovation and I think that some innovation creates new problems.

  14. We have democrats being their usual corrupt selves in the major cites but our Democrats are not usually as stupid or ideological as democrats elsewhere (the exception is Austin). For instance Houston does not put up with homeless people at all and is very tough on crime in the downtown area. Likewise Dallas is very anti crime. Also the right for people to self defense is upheld here.

  20. Here is another thing I remember, Fax machines were used by people to spread unpopular information way before the internet. I remember working at businesses which would receive a fax or more than one every morning about some subject that was important to that group. One of them was TRIM, which stood for Tax reform immediately. another one was about government trying to silence Christian groups. People who are shut out of the mainstream will use any tool to disseminate their info.
