  1. and yet the media was mostly untrustworthy even before all of this happened. Sure maybe fact checking was better but I remember it being incredibly biased, only at least they used to pretend to be unbiased.

  3. Here is another thing I remember, Fax machines were used by people to spread unpopular information way before the internet. I remember working at businesses which would receive a fax or more than one every morning about some subject that was important to that group. One of them was TRIM, which stood for Tax reform immediately. another one was about government trying to silence Christian groups. People who are shut out of the mainstream will use any tool to disseminate their info.
