I love this honesty! Thank you! Hyundai ruined this car. Powertrains are a step backwards as well. The sport is the same stale recipe that the new VW Jetta GLI fully upstages with its HP and LSD
1
Agree. Alex and him are always re-iterating that sedans are dead and its annoying. Honda and Toyota meanwhile keep selling Corolas, Camrys, Civics, and Accords no problem. People aren't buying bad product, unless it's an SUV. That's more the truth
1
Not in a transverse mounting that defaults do the front wheels only. Its bad enough its fwd based. GM would price it at $70k knowing them
1
Still too heavy, too expensive, and no manual option or at least a ZF 8 speed. Shame this was the "best" they could do. For the price, I'd go Mustang Shelby GT350, save $40k and get a better driving, better sounding, more unique car. I know the interiors and build quality don't compare but that's what that extra $40k is for ๐

all best Ford's paint is the worst easily
1
Really hate those Ford Fusion chrome wrapping on the front bumper. Then there are the fake exhaust outlets and the horrible sounding engine. Not a fan. Inside there are more lcds than a Buffalo wild wings. To much shiney black plastics. Not special
1
I dont get why you would buy this but to each there own. Helped someone shipped this segment last week and she went from a 7 Series to a S8. She looked at the Lexus and said it was hideous, slow, and terrible controls. I don't disagree with her. She also test drive the faster twin turbbo V6 version as well
1
I'm actually going to disagree and say the GLS and Navigator look way better than this thing. Both i would choose over this boring box. Really notafan of the stripe club interior lighting. Cheesy
1
Into Corolla Hatchback manual with IRS. Reliable fun and very attractive. Just needs Android Auto which I believe it has for 2020?
1
Damn, for the sale price you use to get a 2L turbo for 240hp. The 2.5L is going to be so much more expensive than The old 2L turbo. I want greater than 200no from a non N model. N models hav e had horrid suspension for comfort
1
Lose Keith.
1
CVT junk, 2L is underpowered for the weight of the vechle, incredibly undersized brakes, but don't worry, it has circular air vents. Since no one wants dynamics or fun cars anymore, this should do great. Interior is beautiful
1
Honda bring this styling to the Civic please
1
Happy he is a Toyota fan boy. Bias as always. Clearly this best car ever made according to him. Listen to the excuses. The road noise is high but it's preproduction.......yeah. also the zero to sixty grabbed by the better reviewers was 8.5 seconds
1
Quรขn Anh Audi dct will always shift faster. Just will
1
For the price you would be much better of and have a better perfor ing vehicle in the Dodge Durango SRT
1
What does the 60 stand for in QX60? The Q60 is a coupe Q50. Is the QX60 a coupe QX50? Is the QX60 even related to the QX50 like the Q60 and Q50? How confusing
1
If Honda could just make a not ugly design I would have bought the Civic. As is I'm looking for a prior gen Mazda 3 hatchback before the latest failure from Mazda which costs a crazy $29k for a manual without IRS
1
Thank you Redline for the most honest review yet. Calling out the drivetrain for wht it is. For $28k for a fwd manual mazda 3, I am going VW GTI with 228hp and a LSD. I think Mazda is high with there pricing. Not impressed with the 2.5L. Nothing new here other than more weight
1
Why would you not mention the Civic Type R was tuned? Happy the driver mentioned it because clearly you weren't going to. Very misleading
1
Do you know weight differences?
1
Roman, umm no ugly cars in this group? You did see the Civic Type R, right?
1
No LSD or sport brakes....
1
Wish you guys would have done the debate between all the cars like you did between the M5 and Redeye. Good discussions. That said, what a weird mix of vehicles.
1
Excellant and honest review. Great job! The exterior was fixed and the interior is nice as long as you don't need any technology. The 2L Turbo engine should not be offered on this whale and needs a ZF 8 speed. Still extremely overpriced and under substanced. Shame
1
So you need to spend nearly $100k for a M3 to get a manual 3 series. Perfect. The rich BMW buyer always buy manuals.......๐

Gorgeous looking

I love the originality and push to break the traditional truck mold. It's not another boring boxy F150 look alike. I support companies trying new design and ideas. As far as the work truck thing, I have 9 F150s parked at my office from people that drive from point A to point B and never touch the bed. I believe that's called a poser but I'll settle with lifestyle. Majority of truck owners dont use there truck as a truck. They are ego vehicles designed to show those that need therapy
1
Upset that you don't get LED/HID lights that you get on a Corolla or Elantra Sport
1
Can I ask why you chose this vs something like a Genesis G70 or 3 series? Genuinely curious
1
Interior is way better than anything GM is putting out, that is for sure. I like this truck. Wish they would tone down the tacky chrome though. V8 sounds fantastic. Tech on this is better than any Infiniti so theres that as well. Price will be everything for this truck to succeed
1
Just like the Maxima, it cant be a "sports" car if it has a CVT. Not a bad boring car though. I really do like Clint in these videos. You guys work well together
1
Just such A price point car. Nothing extra, just everything to a price. Way too many beancounters involved here. Nothing great and a shy high asking price. Competition is much better. Can copy nd past thus response for every GM product but the Camaro and Corvette
1
Subaru really does attract a certain demographic for better or worse. Personally I think they are so plain and boring. Perfect car to not care about. Kia Stinger GT would have been amazing. Bummer
1
Considering how cadilac complertely botched the CT4 V and CT5 V i am nit ecxcited to see what Cadillac will do next. They mail in every offering as of late and only care about China. Interior is so disappointing for a "flagship"let alone a luxury car. In summary, the flagship sedan from Cadillac compares well to much cheaper, fwd based competition. That's terrible praise and very telling. Lexus is not comparable because people only buy Lexus for it reliability which Cadilac cannot compare again.
1
hating the stupid Hey Mercedes system never staying off. Constantly interrupting. Scared because that means it's always listening and collecting your data
1
What a terrible car. Interior is horrid. Hate the chrome covered plastic. Reminds me of an old Chrystler Sebring inside. Then there is that crazy high price, crazy high curb weight, and horrible 12 mile range. No wonder Mini can't sell a car. Not to mention its abysmal reliability
1
I want one, I just can't trust them to stay working. I wish the Honda Fit had torque and not look like a mini van
1
dygardion 91 same!
1
Acura will never compete with the Europeans. There leather they use feels like plastic, they are all fwd based Hondas, and they have an extremely dated product lineup that is awful. The RLX is a joke. There is a Honda version of every Acura product that is better and more up to date
1
It's already outdated and it not even coming out for a whole year yet
1
I think that's a solid summary. The X3 is only good with the 3L 6 cylinder in my opinion. The Stelvio is the best driver but I'd be so scared to own or even lease one. Acura is decent for the price but vs the optional top trim engines in the competition it shows weakness obviously
1
So much money for so much plastic. That interior is terrible formthe price. I'd take a RDX or even RX at that $50k plus price. Crazy
1
No idea why you would ever support a company that never gives us the best versions of there products. I'm still going rwd Kia Stinger personally along with it's great 10 year warranty
1
Ford can do cheap cars well like the Fiesta ST because there interiors are terrible. For $50k, thus is a terrible vehicle. That price is as insulting as the Fisher Price interior brought to you by 2008 Sony. Please stop raving that garbage can. Sounds horrid. Bring back the Fiesta ST!
1
Those wheels look huge and make the brakes look so small. Not sure that would be my choice
1
The Type R needs to ditch the electric motors, go rwd, pull a page out of the Porche 911R book and offer a manual transmission. This is what the car shouod have been from the start. All motor. Lightweight is key
1
Ugly. Also with VW reducing there warranty coverage for 2021 models I personally would not touch one.
1
All show, no go. FWD based cars will never be luxury in my mind. Then again I like driving. This is the perfect example of why no one cares about driving anymore. They just want light shows
