Great job on this! The Halogen reflector headlights is insulting at this price. The inside looks very cheap which is fine at $20k range but not $40k like this Tremor. I disliked the automatic transmission when I drove it around the city where it would do random shifts and lug the engine.
25
You mean the $50k Transverse with less practicality. So overpriced. That interior is straight out of a $26k Camaro. Bad
20
The Civic Type R is the only car a grown man should never own
18
Most pure Honda was a S2000
18
Love Genesis design language inside and out. I want one badly. A proper rwd based luxury vehicle. Very elegant looking. Definetly like it better when you are solo
18
Love this car! Looks and drives amazing. Tech is easy to understand and fully functional. I do not mind the user interface being shared with Hyundai because its one of the best. Guy reviewing has clearly not used the Lexus touchpad interface. Id take Hyundai over Lexus ,Acuras, or Jaguars interface all day. Your wife gets it. She likes it. I do wish they would hve a manual for the 3.3L TT and that they would did the copper accented grill like they had on the G80 Sport. Small quibbles
16
Crazy that they ask $30k for a 2009 product. Given the mustang and camaro, no idea why you would consider this really
14
way too much money
13
The rear end is just unattractive. The wing makes it worse. Really I'm just sad about the lost of the manual option. That's what always had me buying Corvettes. Sadly the C7 will be my last corvette it looks like. I'm sure Chevy will be fine without me haha. The C8 is a great car. Just not for me. I'd get a 718 GTS 4.0 with a manual
10
The V90 is so overpriced or under equipped and under engines. This needs a 6 cylinder engine and it needs to be longitudinally mounted. I dont consider Volvo a luxury brand when all they can offer is a 4 popper, poor awd system, and torque steer at random parts. Not having rear heated seats is a bit insulting as a "luxury" car and for that price. In a luxury car, its the details that matter and Volvo ignores many.

How does one drive this and not feel like they completely gave up on life? How depressing. Thats not even getting into the oil dilution issue that still remains in colder climates.
9
So why did you n9t comoare it to you know, its competition like the Focus ST or GTI, or even the Elantra Sport?
9
it has a 5 speed
8
Literally the ugliest car made today. Would be embarrassed to recieve a ride in one of these. Fail Honda
8
So it sounded like it was all understeer on the track session, was it? Hard to get a real idea about it with all the marketing going on.
8
@Edwin Rodriguez Tell that to BMW, Audi, Genesis, Mercedes, Acura, and Volvo. Its a luxury car. Meaning excess. If you can't afford to make a luxury car what the hell are you doing in this segment Lexus? Your comment is typical Toyota/Lexus apologist. You next message will be about unrivalled reliability. Very predictable
7
I'll take a Genesis GV70 all day over this Rav4
6
I'm incredibly impressed. I was worried this would be like the Volvo and be more fwd dependent. This GLA seemed perfect with power distribution
6
I'd take the non-RF, manual equipped Miata over this all day. $60 to $65k for a 4 cylinder is quite ridiculous especially for a non mid engined car
6
There is a reason Acura needs to give these away and are now building TLX and MDX at the same plant its built. It's a video game no one asked for. Hated my drive in this pig. I'll take a V10 Audi R8 all day over this. Acceleration times be damned. I don't want a Civic interior in my $160k plus car let alone one that doesnt even have Android Auto. If all I wanted was straight line pulls I'd get a Tesla Model S.
6
Really impressive how hard Dodge tries to make this boat float.
6
@deverenfogle3201 I work at a luxury dealership. I have sampled all the Volvo flavors along with the Koreans, Japanese, Germans, and Italians. I speak from a diverse knowledge on cars that isn't influenced by the manufacturer. You should not assume you know someone when you don't. That's called ignorance.
6
Daily my favorite car in this class. Love how it sounds and drives. Would take the Veloster N over the ugly Civic Type R. Appreciate Hyundai keeping it affordable as well
6
$30k+ car and halogen only headlamps.... Slow, expensive, and plasticy. Get a civic hatch that get 38mpg and save yourself the misery
5
Great review! Dislike everything about this overpriced cute ute but appreciate the honesty here and fresh take. Everything is too slow on this vehicle from the processor, to the motor, to the start stop system. Also Nebraska is so hot right now at JLR
5
Easily one of the best Mazda 3 reviews ive seen. Very honest and its greatly appreciated. No Mazda pr speak. Mazda priced me out of the market. I'm not paying $28k plus just to get a manual . For that money I'd get a Golf GTI with LSD and 228hp standard. Now that's premium. Mazda 3 having the lug nuts come off its wheels are not so Premium. In all seriousness I think Mazda missed alot of key points for this car when trying to be premium. Needed to upgrade its engine from prior gen and it has not. Also heard Sky X is going the way of the diesels for the NA ,market meaning not for years. I actually really wish I would have bought a prior gen. Thought the hatch version looked much better and Premium versus this new version with C pillar for days
5
It looks nice. The interior is definitely nicer than a Silverado, but thats a very low bar. Its pricetag doesn't do it any favors and I wonder if they can match the domestics with incentives. Its not really competitive with towing/payload stats or acceleration. Not sure who this is for. It does sound good though
4
There should have been a category for which group of YouTube fanboys are more butt hurt. Winner : Toyota
4
If Fiat was smart they would put it up against the Toyota CHR or Nissan kick. All garbage vehicles but at least it would fit in there. Sad. To answer your question, I'm just going to state the cars I would take the 500L over, since it's much shorter. I'd take a 500L over a Nissan Versa, Nissan Kicks, and Subaru Crosstrek. That's it. The 500L has a peppier engine and no CVT like the Subaru and Nissan vehicles. Other than that I would take all the competition over the 500L.
4
Serious question, if Alfa used the uconnect system out of FCA vehicles, would you then complain its the same system out of a Pacifica even though it worked flawlessly? @Driving Sports TV
4
Id get a camaro SS or 370Z loaded for $35k.
4
I love how many 0 to 60mph runs you did. Each time improving, but still very slow for the segment. Such a lazy offering by Lexus. Might as well keep your prior gen unless you are a hooning enthusiast when you drive your Lexus on the edge, but don't need speed, and don't mind that you can't fully defeat the electronic nannie systems that keep it boring. Its weird to be bragging about a touchscreen and Carplay/Android Auto for a 2021 model, but that is progressive Lexus for you. This is coming from someone who owns the prior gen
4
For $50K I'm going Acura RDX and saving $6k. SH AWD is superior to GM awd system
4
Unsubscribed
3
Hkw the hell is $50k reasonable money? What planet are you from?
3
This is without a doubt your best work. Fantastic job! Really have no interest in this car but you kept me interested throughout the whole video
3
@normt5463 dude no one likes you. All you do is comment how great GM is. Go away
3
Alan Bowers no, for the $32k asked of the 370z you can get a Camaro SS or Mustang GT. End of story
3
@rolan2dr how can you do predicted reliability on new cars ? Hahaha
3
@themagician7734 Rav4 Adventure awd system is superior. Just look at the TRD version article that kept up with a Wrangler in nearly everything. Couldn't kill it. If you think off roading in a CVT is fun god bless. I'll take the geared automatic
3
Luxury and CVT never go together. Cant wait for the Genesis GV70 which will be a proper rwd based platform and a conventiona automatic transmission. Infiniti needs to go away. This is more a Nissan product anyways. There CVTs ruin all the love dial there products could have
3
Objectively a great car. However its exterior is off putting enough that I would never shop it
3
Honestly fantastic review! Wish though you gave us a time on that 0-60mph run
2
Tan N how dare you introduce facts to this video review. He was provided this vehicle VW so he could never speak ill of it. This is a paid infomercial at best
2
$65k?! Holy wow. Yeah no was thinking $45k max
2
These were surprisingly not reliable. The axles were having problems. Hopefully they fixed that. Wished this offered a manual transmission option like the ATS V and M4. Given how dated the tech is, I'm surprised at the premium Lexus asks for this at $80k. Sad part is even if Lexus updated the tech, it would still be out of date and lacking even basics like Android Auto.
2
@truthistruth615 Sonic was blue though ;)
2
Durango is RWD based so really, no
2
I would go Kia Stinger or Honda Accord. Nissan CVT is a no go and the build quality is worse than a $15k Kia Rio
2
I don't understand Subaru nowadays. Making you get an awful CVT unordered to get the sport Recaro seats and adjustable dampeners is why I left the brand years ago.
