What a low effort cash grab. Hate that people buy these no matter how uncompetitive it is. Just get a Honda Civic and don't look back
2
My least favorite video is the Type R comparison infomercial. Favorite video was the Jeep Wrangler with the Honda Element bin test as a close second.
2
Having a manual is the most appealing aspect of the R to me. Love that it has a manual transmission
2
Jaguar lets you have more fun with the engine/car so its my favorite. Lexus electronic nannies/terrible tech ruin an otherwise perfect engine.
2
Kia Stinger is my choice but a manual option on the Kia would make it perfect and one of a kind for its class
2
Funny that an ancient GTR R35 is faster than the NSX Type S yet you guys never mention needing to throw up when driving the GTR. Good acting
2
400 has to be the dumbest thing an automotive company has done for a name yet. Then there is the fact that a "luxury" 3 row has all carbon fiber trim on the dash that looks so out of place and tacky. I'd take a loaded Hyundai Pallisade over this all day
2
Wow did that dust the cx3. Love it!
2
Love the car, love the wheels. Just so impressed. Great job Genesis
2
I'm with Jakub on the upcoming Stinger refresh, get the current one while you can. Definitely looks better than the refresh and the refresh one is heavier.
2
I'll just get a prior year ATS V. It's less confusing, better looking, and has the same engine that will be in the Blackwig version anyways. Both of these cars have very underwhelming interiors
2
@DoubleVthree im not thankful. This is ugly as sin and useless
2
Really not a fan of the exterior design on this. Definitely needs the 5.7L bare minimum. Very expensive once it has a decent engine. Really hope this exterior doesn't get traded on the current Grand Cherokee which looks stunning.
2
Shame Mazda ruined the hatch design on this new generation 3. This is a proper power train but without IRS and a proper transmission. The engine should have been returned for more hp, less torque and have peak power high in the rpm band. I still don't understand how Mazda cant source an Asian 8 Speed auto. Tech is still poor. Given the price point, I would go Elantra N from what I've seen from the prototype drives or the Veloster N for a hatch
2
I really want a list of all current vehicles in production that offer a 5 speed transmission. Anyone know?
2
I seriously love these guys. Always entertaining
1
Love you guys.Love that you both dressed up like McCanghy
1
It's a Mini Van. Hideous.
1
A great engine, positioned the wrong way in the engine bay. It's a Golf with a 5 cylinder. Needs to be RWD based
1
Why would you buy a modern car with that garbage user interface? Lexus is so far behind. Also do not like that you have to get the F sport package in order for the NX to look good. Also cant wait for Lexus to upgrade the center console mirror to a tampon holder.
1
I know I'm like six comments deep on here but I just wanted to say you guys absolutely killed this review! All I wanted to know was about how the manual was and you got me excited. Thanks fellas! Amazing work!
1
I love these guys. Honestly my favorite!
1
@TheStraightPipes exactly what I wanted to know. Thank you!
1
A Miata doesn't corner flat. 🤔 It actually has quite a bit of body roll so....yeah
1
Really appreciate that irs is now standard on all models and that they kept the size of it relatively the same. Love this and can't wait for the N
1
Absolutely loving it when Jakub sticks his head in the corner rear window when showing the peasant blocker. Couldn't have done it better
1
I like this older design so much more. I do think it needs a V8 for the sound though
1
Stinger no doubt. Rwd only here in the States for the win
1
This whole class is so sad. Then there is the ridiculous price on this. The interior on this Chevy is so low rent. Transmission tuning is very lazy and not fitting for the Sporty demeanor it is trying to play on. Hard pass. I would go Palisade out of class
1
Can you guys drive a C Class that cost as much as the as tested price on this GLA? Meaning which why is better to spend your $47k at Mercedes
1
"Lane keep assist is great as long as the road is straight"..... My car without lane keep assist tracks in its lane on a straight road too.
1
Love the car. Great review. Definetly better than its Aston Martin cousin Vantage. That said, the SLS look way better. Also wish you didn't have to specify which AMG models are hand built as I always thought that was what defined an AMG engine. Thanks Mercedes Marketing. I can see why Tobias left
1
Yeah I'd get the 3.3TT G70 and save even more money while getting more features.
1
No lsd is cheap and sad
1
I feel like the McLaren GT or 720S compete with this the closest depending on Turbo or Turbo S
1
Too much tech
1
Can i just say that the overhead view of the traction test on the handling course was amazing! Esaily should be anstple in rwd car reviews. Bummed that Hyundai kills power automatically if you hit the brakes and acceleration at the same time. Grr
1
If it's not a Ferrari V8 under the hood, it's not a Maserati to me and not worth the price tag without it. Also offended by you guys not including the G90 in this discussion ;)
1
TheStraightPipes no lsd option renders this as never being sporty. A G35 with 287hp had a lsd... The redsport Q50 i drove had the wonkiest steering ive ever felt on a car. It was scarey bad. Infiniti has cheaped out as has all there products. The engine is a gem but falls apart after that. Shame. Your take on the performance meter was amazing
1
Ferrari F40/F50
1
This is a good car worth a great engine. Really a shame Lexus gave up on the GS and let it withered on the vine to a slow death
1
If you raised this it would sell like crazy to women and small dogs
1
It even sounds amazing! Love this
1
Needs an lsd likemthe SI
1
No, lift off oversteer is worth $5-$7k which is why the Veloster N kills the Tyoe,R in my opinion. I car more about fun than some lap time. I also can't handle how hideous the Type R is
1
I like the Palisade but also like that the Telluride is built in the US....torn
1
Probably in the minority but i wish this had the front of the G80 Sport. The black with that copper grill was beautiful. This front has way too much Sonata in it in my opinion
1
The cost of the CT4 V BW with both carbon fiber packages is insane and neat M2 CS territory which I would take in a second. The interior on both these Cadillacs is poor and give off very cheap Chevy vibes. Pre production or not, Cadillac build quality is among the worst in the industry. I would go with a manual M2 Comp
1
Filming this at night really gave the Type R an advantage. Type R is such an eye sore
1
They need a manual transmission option in the 3.3L. Other than that, very impressive. Love the interior. They do need to figure out that dealership thing though. Also i had a 2013 GenCoupe R Spec 3.8L and loved it! Agree the hood is like a GenCoupe but happy it didn't have the fake vents in it
