  2.  @Boskov01  I'm pretty "blackpilled", but I grew up that way. Depression runs in my family. I'm more like a dark stone, utterly black, than someone who swallowed a Matrix metaphor. When you monitor yourself & realize your outlook & attitude are the biggest determining factors in how you deal with life, you learn to be simultaneously bleak yet upbeat because you see it bothers others far worse. It's not being too dark, it's in how you convey that darkness. I like Black Pigeon Speaks, because to me he sounds like my inner critic doing diagnostic work rather than whining or complaining, but I certainly wouldn't recommend anyone adopt my views. It took me decades to adapt to that burden.
