I HATE (sarcasm fully engaged) to bring this up, but since everyone is ready to shut up, mask up & accept defeat, I'll be the loud voice in the room: THERE IS NO GOING BACK TO YESTERDAY and the way things used to be. Trump changed things in a way that is everlasting. People have seen who their real enemies are. This will influence things to come, probably forever. There will be NO UNITY (if you wanted a United States, the rigged election just killed that) merely more conflict, probably more factions of people from now on. Are the "haves" going to be in a better position then they have been recently? Yes. But I think "diminishing returns" is going to be the name of the game for the next two decades. The people will not support these changes. The conservatives WON'T trust or support the government very much & the liberals & progressives WON'T become a cohesive group that supports anyone, they will merely become a reoccurring problem in our social landscape from now on, chaotically attacking targets at random, even each other.
