  1. We say One bedroom, One bath with separate toilet room/ water closet. Living dining combination with a Galley Kitchen. ( galley kitchen just means small, all in a straight line.) Yes, OLDER homes in US often have bath/ toilet next to kitchen too. I agree, it is not ideal. They do that because plumbing is less problem when all close together. Since building is older, they had to use original plumbing lay out. Its understandable... But the wood look laminate is VERY POPULAR everywhere it seems. We redid our kitchen about 2 years ago. We have the same style laminate that looks like old barn wood. Very pretty. The apartment is very nice. Thank You for sharing it with us.
