  1. The damage to Spruce Fir forests happened in North America and Canada too. It is heartbreaking. We lost Hemlock trees forever, Frazier Firs live to bare cones and a young forest exists, but BIG TREES are gone. I'm not sure if Spruce trees will overcome the blight or not. Over 19 tree spices in Southern Appalachian Forests are dead or very sick. Is our entire planet sick? I'm afraid so. I'm so sorry your trees are sick too.
