  1. We rescued a grey cockatiel. My grandson found her on side of road. She was weak, had almost given up. No idea how old. Pretty sure she's a she. I am now aware of how birds are neglected, abused, abandoned. It's a life time commitment. I need to find her a mate, but I don't want to raise more captive birds. Mine was likely abused, she still won't allow me to pet her. She does interact and sends me kisses. She gets excited when men come around. I'm a good mama. We have a cat too however, so I don't push her to get out of cage. Cat would kill her.
