  1. I adopted a traumatized cockatiel too. Perhaps I need to get a support mug. So far, my bird will not allow me to hold her/ him. I agree, birds should not be pets. I had never wanted a bird until my grandson found her on side of road. Not even sure she's a female, but I think she really, really likes men.
