  83. ❤Hey, Good Morning. I wake up with my doggie every day too. My pup looks just like yours. He is 16 and in pretty good health for an old dog. Yes, I’m alive too. I was recently injured hiking. I dislocated my right shoulder. It was a traumatic injury. I’m 70, I must be in pretty good health too for age 70. Bones are strong. My injury could have been much worse. So, for 2 weeks, I have been very inactive, allowing my arm, my body to heal. It will have been over 2 weeks since I was in ER, but haven’t seen a real doctor yet. I hope rotator cuff is not torn. This has been extremely painful. That is too long to wait I think. Healthcare is indeed precarious in USA. My appointment is next Tuesday Now I’m sort of numb however. I’ve experienced a lot of trauma over past several years. I think after that length of time, and living alone, I’m not sure what I feel. Yes, life is complicated. I wish I had some mushroom gummies. 😅 That idea that I should do something is pressing on me too. But, you are right, it’s ok to just be. Maybe I will make soup too. Thanks … have a nice day.

I have worked in this field most of my adult life, employed with the National Park Service in USA. I started as a young girl working in costume in the Civil War period. Later, as an interpreter of Natural history / Park Natiralist, quite different.   240. We cant start HRT early because MOST DOCTORS WILL NOT PERSCRIBE HRT. Especially, for older women. My mother had a total hysterectomy at 35. She almost died and certainly her marriage was destroyed. After she fell and broke her hip at 42, she HAD TO START TAKING HRT. All was well, then at age 80, her dr. refused to renew her HRT prescription. She was on a small dose by age 80. But she told me the doctors wanted her to die now and without her estratest she would want to die. That is absolutely true. Now, I realize that no doctor will give an older woman HRT.

He did not love me until I cared for him as he was dieing. I took care of him for 6 years as he was sick. He was impotent shortly after we married, so he didn't cheat with women. He cheated with his buddies and at bars. His love was not true. I stayed with him for 20 yesrs. I am old now.

Now I'm a senior citizen and have been thinking about "rigging out" in Colonial attire. I love Colonial and US Revolutionary War Periods. I too grew up living with antiques. I collect Colonial pieces. I swear there are times when I walk into a room filled with period furniture and it's almost like a flash back, a memory. There is even a smell of old wood...Sounds crazy, I know. Now, I live on an Indian Reservation in NC. Many of my Indiginous friends do reenactments and educational programs.   271. Yes, a REAL PROBLEM. My x husband got out of Army and went to work as a policeman in a big city. He was not right wing until then, certainly not far right. He is now. The police department he works for has a leadership who participate in reenactments of Civil War battles, as Confederates, and now they actually reenact WWII, Nazi themed events. They encourage the men and women in their department to participate in these activities as well. I have seen pictures and I am shocked... posing in full SS Officer uniforms, standing in front of the Swastika. This radicalization happened AFTER he left military and went to work in a police department. Police departments are fraternities. Not enough oversight / transparancy. For years, I assumed police departments in the US were controlled by an organization with federal oversight. They are not, not really. Its a separate club and amounts to an army of radicalized terrorists in many places. I do believe there are many good men and women in law enforcement, but still, far right radicalization is a WIDESPREAD problem. It is extremely concerning, especially now. I remember our enemies...Russia and China, who vowed to take our country down, from within. I can see now how infiltration the police departments and our military was / is part of that plan. So many things are not as we were taught or thought. How can we fix this???
