  2. Exactly my thoughts. Maybe Thompson was a ringleader but Venables most likely was an instigator and manipulator. Typical psychopath's behaviour. During the interrogation he was more worried about his mother's actions than about what he has done. His recent arrest for having indecent images of kids is a prove that he liked the children abuse long before the murder.
