  1. 100% modular io is gimmiky as fuck. 90 percent of people need the same 2-3 ports for 80 percent of time (my numbers are random ofc but you get the idea) so proper design would be instead of having 4 blocky modular ports and wasting them on something like usb-a to make a laptop with more more compact "basic" (i.e. common for the absolute majority of user base) ones and two modular ones for customuzation and personal preference.
