as a little boy i once came to the kitchen in my grandma's house. it was summer and so there was this huge bowl on the stove with raspberry jam slowly boiling inside. i was alone there and since i have alot of cousins i thought it was a great opportunity to taste sweet thing ahead of the pack (maybe even before winter) so i helped myself with the big wooden spoon lying there. imagine my face when it turned out that it wasn't raspberry jam, but rather pig's blood for those sausages which are traditional here. 30 years later i can still feel that metallic taste in my mouth. not complaining though.

@mostdefinitelynotadurian apparently not. bloody soup isn't that stinky in the first place and usually there're alot of different smells around. and everything happened fast enough.
