even in fiction it makes no sense. for example in the witcher there are two female warriors accompanying the dragon dude. they are supposed to be somewhat exotic in setting by design. and then they get a black knight danek at calanthe's court. so now if you say black and white people in cintra are quite common (which is bs in non global and pretty xenophobic fantasy world) then it immediately makes tea and vea generic as well.

@This Dude not only the games are glorified fanfiction formally, they are constructed as fan fiction in artistic way as well, especially the first one - they intentionally take some characters and situations from the books and twist them a bit to use as their own but make clearly recognizable, for example professor/magister character (killed by geralt in the book) or grandpa in the swamp.
