@scottstedeford7575 healthy saliva is an idea, not the method. it's like saying that to be healthy and live longer you need healthy organs. it's an empty expression, it holds no additional information aside from the video title. the same goes for her 1 hour regiment - she can't tell her 3 rinses and one toothpaste story in neither 2 nor 22 minutes. and she even spends that hour convincing you, selling you her method, which you already bought if you're watching the video in the first place, instead of focusing on the formulas, what to look for and what to avoid, because the viewers aren't necessarily from the us, people can't by the exact brand, but can read the contents at their local store. if she'd explain that then that would've been an hour well spent. otherwise it's just bloated with irrelevant chatter.

you don't need 25 dollars toothpaste, you only need 25 dollars worth of zellies.

the idea is to keep it in your mouth for several minutes so drinking it diluted is pointless. so just take it in your mouth and woosh it around for 3-5 minutes. or since you get it as a powder you can take it in smaller portions but several times in a row, like 0.5g for 1-2 minutes 3-4 times at one go. the powder or granulated sugar-like form should be even better since you get 100% of zylitol and 0% of anything else AND you'll get around a week worth of zylitol for a price of one mint or chewing gum.

@Zonnerise the simplest answer is usually the right one - conflict of interests

@anthonybernardfamily9258 late rich piana when selling his "real food" supplements always went out of his way to explicitly say that the best course of action would be to eat real real food even before and instead of his product. he was a businessman, but respected his audience and the audience respected him for that. dr. phillips' wording here and in other videos is unclear at best and maybe even intentionally misleading. she is saying that xylitol is a better way yet she's using "gums", "mints" and "zellies" interchangably with it (xylitol) creating a false impression (without saying it explicitly ofcourse) that it is somehow "the right way" if not the only way to consume xylitol. she sells it 5-10 times more expensive than raw xylitol and never says that any xylitol will suffice. it is as clear conflict of interests as it gets. look even at this comment section - people are confused. like a guy from argentina who can't find "gum or mints" and can only buy 100% powdered xylitol thinks he is at disadvantage somehow. someone else's asking if granulated xylitol is ok. if she's promoting xylitol from one video to another she has to be clear about its form/formulations, usage and effectiveness, not intentionally vague. or she can say whatever she wants, but then it should be obligated to openly and clearly call the video an add.
