  1. it comes down to what they're selling. if it's a subscription service and they want to stop providing it then it's fine, you can't use their code/ip to effectively compete against their future services. if they're selling the game for a price, then they should have no right to stop you from playing it past the eol date. and if the game requires sefl or community hosted servers then so be it.
