  1. pledge of allegiance is a total joke. firstly, the kids are the same citizens like any other, so why would they need to do some extra pledging? secondly, it's effectively compelled speech applied to a developing an easily traumatized mind. it creates unaware though and emotional patterns and who knows what else.
