  1. idk what were they thinking. that people will upgrade their hardware just to upgrade the os? there're other major consideration for hardware upgrade, mainly do i need it for anything substantial and do i have the money right now. if the reason to upgrade is the os then i just won't install it, period. there's literally no two ways about it.

  2.  @richardsaumier9948  ev is a value proposition in and of itself. and some people take it, though i doubt they just through the previous one away. w11 is not the same.
