you can move the panel on w10. and also you can just just chose the panel's color while in famously customizable kde you have to edit some graphical file with a very specific third party application. which is f up af. anyway, the truth is that for the most people it's easier and less time consuming to solve windows issues, not linux. in half a year i had more bs with linux than in 20 years with windows. and it is muhc easier to find information and solutions on windows. and most of my win issues were of my own creation or due to hardware failure, where on linux it's 95% just some random issue with linux itself.

"If a game doesn't work in Linux with minimum tinkering isn't worth to spend my time with." - have nothing against linux per ce, but this is a literal cope.

the only reason linus accepts its english pronounciation is a general inability of native english speakers (mainly americans) to wrap their heads around anything but their own languade with their own rules. like i even saw a video where some pedestrians in the us couldn't pronounce surname peña. europeans are often more versatile and can get a clue. for many of obvious historical and cultural reasons. even the brits.

the funniest thing is most normies if out on a default kde install probably won't be able to tell they aren't on windows anymore

switched to opensuse tumbleweed couple of days ago, lol. still running windows on my main pc though.

@BrodieRobertson fine it is, but the comparison with japanese is incorrect. americans can easily pronounce linus, délacroix and peña in any way including the original. it's a matter of will and effort rather than the technical ability itself.

@formbi no one cares who they are and what they think. and no one should be.

saying to just try linux you're missing the point - if these people wanted to try something it would have been windows 10

it shows the sad state of linux community and its/their mental stability when you have to disclose the joke before making it.

i like the south park flag. not that old controversial racist, but rather new tolerant, inoffensive and inclusive one.

i installed manjaro on my mum's laptop instead of w10 and she couldn't tell the difference. however, libre office sucks balls ms-compatibility-wise.

debloating is pointless because there is either too much computational resources or not even closely enough. let's say on my main system i can run anything i want and never care because cpu and ram are way below 50% at all times. however on my secondary system which is late 11 macbook pro i can only run one-two apps at a time no matter the debloating.

yellow is good, mkay? actually, though yellow is my favourite colour i never by yellow clothes.
1
arbitrary changes upon of arbitrary design decisions arbitrarily made by a random guy based upon some random arbitrary feedback weighted against his own stubbornness that's how everything feels on linux design wise btw

i get what you're saying, but your core argument is "tiling is this" and it is invalid. tiling is this only in your (and other twm linux users') head because you've decided to kind of highjack the term. but it's not linux specific, it's a general term that means "spreading windows somewhat evenly or according to some understood or desirable principle". i can think of numerous softwares (containing multiple windows or subwindows) that use this term and functionality one way or another. they all call it tiling and they all are correct in doing so. to think otherwise is kind of saying that this is wrong because my religion says so. duh.

free = someone else's paying face it, foss community is a bunch of commie freeloaders who will never change due to their deeply entrenched unsustainable ideological beliefs
