Why should we bar people from VOLUNTEERING to serve in our military if they are motivated and qualified enough to defend our nation? Trump's excuse for barring trans people from the military was that their "tremendous medical costs and disruption" would "burden victory". Bullshit! If medical costs are the issue, then the Defense Department doesn't have to cover gender-affirming care. But nope, he opted to outright ban them all! Unless you have a "good reason" to bar trans people from serving in the military?
