It's almost like he's lying on the internet for money!

@enudretheinsult Well the enemies of the 20s (and presumably the 30s) will be using conventional armies that needn't hide behind the civilian population they're supposed to be protecting. Though, given Russia's (or China's, for that matter) behavior (at literally any point in history), I wouldn't put it past either of them.

I wish we had more conservatives like you. It'd be so much easier to get along :(
40
Brandon u slay so hard 💪💪✨️✨️👏
22
Our government support may be iffy, but at least some of our people still want to see liberal democracy win. Please don't give up, and PLEASE don't die.
20
LMAO I love the implication that "advanced" societies all have gay super-soldiers where their homosexuality actively improves their combat effectiveness. I wouldn't have it any other way.
16
DAMN dude. You clearly hit a nerve, cuz the bots are out in DROVES on this one.
13
@KingTrump2028 Ah yes, because admonishing the alt-right is Russophobic. Really helping your image here brother :D
11
I call little spoon.
9
Her whole thing is spreading lies and disinformation about LGBT people. Y'know, like the implication that gay people weaken our military.
7
@onerimeuse I wish more people were eagle-eyed like you. It seems that the very people who decried the atrocities of the Soviet Union are more than happy to let us experience the same under the banner of the Russian Federation.
7
Even if that's true, that doesn't explain why a Haitian immigrant, with a job and the security of living in the United States, would go out of their way to hunt and kill a dog when they could go buy a burger for 5 bucks.
7
@chuch541 I mean the whole thing that binds America together is the idea that different cultures can get along under one flag. Appalachia. New England. The Deep South. The Midwest. The West Coast. All of these are culturally distinct areas of the United States, each with their own rich and interesting history. And despite this, we still cooperate (to the extent at which we can in [current year]).
7
What is with this weird rehearsed line coming from all of you like it's some sort of pre-set option in a dialogue tree? She is manipulating you with leading rhetoric in the captions that posts along with those videos, like the one accompanying the subject of this video. Come on dude read between the lines, please.
6
Which is more embarrassing: Pulling trash out of barbed wire for two weeks, or being known as a rat forever?
6
Unfortunately, a lot of Americans seem to be on board with electing the person who will bring this document to fruition.
6
This comment goes hard, but unfortunately Chaya Raichik is making a difference. That's why covering her misinformation matters so much.
6
I think "Would you just shut up man" went pretty hard tbh
6
How is it unbecoming? Is doing any dance unbecoming? Chaya is implying that gay men make our military weak. That IS homophobic, and also like one of the number one propaganda talking points of our enemies.
6
This is genuinely how I understood geopolitics when I was six years old. Which is to say, this shouldn't be described as an "understanding" of.... well.. anything, actually. Russia can't make meaningful gains against a country that is fighting with our RESERVE/OLD/SURPLUS GEAR. How do you think they would fair against cutting-edge stealth aircraft and never-ending saturation attacks because we literally have INFINITY BULLETS. Like, I don't think you understand just how utterly outclassed Russia is here, dude. I mean feel free to join the Russian military and stand under a HIMARS. Go see for yourself what two trillion dollars of spending does to a military.
5
People who think sending aid to Ukraine is wasteful must also clearly have a problem with giving police departments armored vehicles. Because lowering upkeep costs is... wasteful?
5
I defy you to tell me what exactly is wrong with this sailor doing a "gay" dance.
5
If you think "anti-LGBT" and "anti-pedo" are the same thing, your opinion is not worth hearing :3
5
She asked, to her conservative audience, a leading question about whether "this" (sailor doing a gay dance) showed strength in our military. The implicit answer to this question is "no", of course. You're inability to identify her rhetoric says all it needs to about what you believe, and how you would respond to her question if you were asked. :/
4
Culture war. The conservatives have to moral panic about something, or their voterbase would literally have nothing to vote on.
4
All she did was post the TikTok and ask a leading question that suggests, to her conservative audience, that gay people make our military weaker. That's all she did man!!
4
It's so insane seeing all the people in the comments whining about recruitment rates, when those same people seem to be pretty keen on excluding like 20% of our population from serving in the military.
4
Ryan, "maintain a biblically based, social science–reinforced definition of marriage and family," is a dogwhistle for the elimination of gay marriage and no-fault divorce. The "Biblically-based marriages" people like these are advocating for are not the soft and fuzzy kind that modern western Christians engage in.
4
It's a weird tradition thing. In a formal context, it is expected that you refer to people by the highest title that person has held at any point--past or present. It's why you see veterans referred to by their ranks, even though they are no longer serving the military. It's a matter of respect! Now, while I think Donald Trump isn't worthy of any respect, disrespecting him at the beginning of the video would probably turn away a lot of the people Ryan is trying to convince.
4
One, being gay is not politics. Making gay people feel welcome in the army is also not politics. Using an all-gender bathroom is... fine? Why is that an issue? And seriously, why are you taking people who give you shit for "working for the gay army" seriously? You have the privilege of serving the most powerful military on this planet. There's absolutely nothing for you to feel embarrassed about. That's not to say there aren't problems that need fixing, but being "the gay army" definitely isn't one of them.
4
By implying things in the captions. Yknow, like implying that this video of a guy doing a gay dance doesn't show strength or confidence in the military. If you can't see her obvious subtext, then there's no way you're old enough to vote in November.
4
You know it's not just "reposting videos" dude. People read and respond to the captions, especially when they are framed in a leading way (gay = bad so our military is bad because this dude is acting "gay"). Suggesting that gay people weaken the military is misinformation. Because they don't. If you can't see that, it's not his fault that you believe a wrong thing.
4
Oh those poor little right wing babies! Forced to take money from our literal enemy to knowingly spread lies and destabilize America!
4
Is that because of the icky gays, or because we just spent 2 decades fighting an extremely unpopular war in a desert that no one cares about for effectively no reason because the government we were trying to prop up had no motivation to actually exist for more than 3 seconds on its own? Nah, it's definitely the gays. We should start listening to great leaders and thinkers like Vladimir Putin and Xi Xinping, right? We should just submit to our enemies right now. No fight, no discussion. Just give up!
3
Subtext matters. By asking if the sailor in that video showed strength or confidence in our military, she was implying to her conservative audience that it didn't (and that our military is "gay", blah blah blah). You are either too naive to recognize that, or too dishonest to admit that was her intention. Also... what? Can you clarify what you meant by "preschool teachers", "bragging about", "how they indoctrinate", "toddlers", and "LGBTQ ideology"? Literally none of that made any sense.
3
"Nuh uh! It's the LEFT who are the liars!!!" (after watching a video detailing the process of how a hostile foreign government was able to project its awful backward ideas into American minds)
3
When did Ryan say that? This is just more insane cope from someone who can't play along with others because of his iron-age morality.
3
Any mental gymnastics to avoid admitting that you believe lies, right? It can't possibly be our enemies lying about the country that they are actively invading. It has to be a "CIA/FBI honeypot" (for what? beats me!), or they were just tooooootally innocent!
3
NO STOP
3
Wow that's a lot of yapping to say "b-but the US is bad too! That means Russia should be allowed to lie to us!!". 1.) "The American Government" is not the western boogeyman you should fear, but the corporations who control it. Why didn't the invasion of the Middle East benefit us? Because it was never meant to. It was meant to benefit the ultra-wealthy oil tycoons who have their thumbs in the American pie. 2.) It doesn't matter what the US government has done wrong, it does not excuse Russia intentionally lying to us. Especially when Russia is trying to DESTORY us with those lies.
3
Elon is buddy-buddy with a lot of goons on the far right. This isn't out-of-character at all for him.
3
Soldiers can't goof off and make a video of it? Surely you feel the same about literally every other instance of soldiers goofing off in uniform on the internet, right? Or does it only "embarrass the uniform" because he's acting like a GIIIIIRLLL (and girls are GROOOOSSSSSS).
3
no, chaya raichik is just a bad person
3
You're right! State media would NEEEEEEEVER spread misinformation to manipulate a large group of people--domestic or foreign. Nuh uh never!
3
Ah yes, you should rely on your gut when the aggregate of all human knowledge is a five-second search away. Last week, we sent them $125 MILLION worth of supplies, ammunition, and other war-fighting goods. Why would we punish Ukraine for trying to get the upper hand in the war?
3
Stonks was never a funny meme, and that should immediately discredit you. What part of the first amendment has Ryan violated? What did he saw that was wrong?
3
No man, she just lies. What "craziness" and "hypocrisy" has she pointed out?
3
What is "coco-banana'ism" exactly? A sailor doing a funny dance? A book tangentially mentioning homosexuality in a high school library? Subtext matters. By asking if the sailor in that video showed strength or confidence in our military, she was implying to her conservative audience that it didn't (and that our military is "gay", blah blah blah). You are either too naive to recognize that, or too dishonest to admit that was her intention.
3
1.) Name some. 2.) Good? Russia has been shaping public opinion in America for DECADES. We shouldn't just lie down and take it.
2
Gay and trans people are part of America, and--as long as our society continues to move towards equality for us--we will continue to serve in the military. Don't like it? Go join Russia's military.
