Yep! That war was fought on behalf of the same oil companies that have consistently backed the Republican Party for decades. But I'm sure you can doublethink your way into blaming Kamala somehow!

The situations in Israel and Ukraine aren't even remotely the same

So many Putin apologists in these comments, ready to bend the knee to our literal enemies
2
@protected8627 The funds FEMA used to house immigrants came from a different pile of money than the Disaster Relief Fund (the funds being used to help Americans affected by the hurricane(s)).

Actual solipsism

Imagine being this unable to entertain the idea that you might be wrong, with your head so buried in the sand that you can't fathom someone having authentic disagreements with your god.

Israel exists because we allow it to. We could wave our hand and turn Israel into a history lesson. Despite this, they push us around and act like we're their client state. The best part? Neither party is willing to put their foot down. The democrats MIGHT push back if the planets align, while Trump is probably going to give Netanyahu a black check to do whatever he wants with the Middle East. I can't wait!

You people are calling literally everything an "October Surprise". I've seen HELENE described as an "October Surprise" (???)

@Evettecord Obviously they play both sides. The problem is that one side actually acknowledges the existence of man-made climate change, while the other side vehemently denies it (or thinks of clever reasons as to why we shouldn't do anything about it). This suggests, to me, that fossil fuel companies probably have more of their eggs in the red basket.

@uniy123 She's definitely acting in better faith than Donald Trump, who has told demonstrable lie after demonstrable lie. Trump voters seem to be very anti-establishment, but they'll happily give their votes to a member of the ultra-wealthy ruling class. Weird!

To anyone who thinks that I'm a Democrat shill: The only party in this country that represents my interests (without throwing my vote away) are a bunch of lazy do-nothing democrats that exist to perpetuate the status quo, maybe getting off their asses every once and a while to throw a bone to leftists like me and pass progressive legislation. But not too progressive, though! The problem is that Trump is far worse. I would certainly take the status quo over a complete restructuring of our government (as outlined in Project 2025, something conservative propaganda outlets have completely lied to you about). I would take Kamala over actually racist lies (like the Haitian immigrant stuff) that has caused real tangible harm in the real world. I would GLADLY take Kamala over actual real life in-fact Christian Nationalism. TL;DR -- I hate the Dems, but the Republican Party keeps threatening my well-being, so I'll keep voting blue. Two party system bad!

@Evettecord The Democrats are bought and paid for, sure, but they aren't actively denying Anthropogenic Climate Change. The Republican Party is often pushing disinformation at the behest of corporations, because their voterbase is often most susceptible to it.

@dozersdady I literally don't like the Democrats because they don't accurate represent my views as a leftist. Liberals are too moderate, and not willing to challenge the elite ruling class (often because they are paid by them). Liberals do their best to maintain the status quo--which I don't think is enough--but is certainly preferrable to Trump and Project 2025 (which is a real thing that really threatens the stability of the American government).

Oh yeah we should just let Russia push us around because they have nukes! Good one comrade!
1
Oh yeah. I also heard he was Jewish! And a communist! These judeo-marxists are ruining our culture!!! :/

Oh Trump cares about human lives? Is that why he constantly downplayed the pandemic and spread misinformation regarding "cures"? Is that why he mocked people who wore masks, and encouraged his followers not to?

Biden's administration has sent literal millions to the states already. You can find this with a Google search, but you choose to remain ignorant because it's easier for you.

@Michael-fg9ol 1.) The program responsible for housing immigrants takes money from a DIFFERENT fund than the Disaster Relief Fund. 2.) The $750 is to cover immediately food, water, shelter, and clothing needs until FEMA can properly assess how much compensation someone is eligible for. 3.) We have international allies because we don't live in the 12th century. Supporting Ukraine is objectively good for everyone in the West, including Americans. It's also bad for Russia, which is why they want you to hate Ukraine. Israel is a different story, but Trump has made it clear that he's willing to give Israel unconditional support, and probably more funding than the Democrats are giving it currently.

$750 are for immediate needs (like clothing, food, and shelter), until your claim can be assessed by FEMA. You would know this if you knew anything.

I'm noticing a trend with Florida and mental health.

Putin loves Trump's right-wing populism, because he can also appeal to it and turn Americans against their own country. Why would he want Kamala in power?
