  10. Nordstream chained Germany to the very nation that abused it throughout the latter half of the 20th century. Russia, US, Ukraine, whoever did this, did Germany a massive favor by freeing them from their dependence upon one of their greatest enemies. If you can't handle your energy need domestically, it's better to depend on your allies than your enemies.
