  5.  @emm_arr  Curry as we know it is British. It consists of rice, which is hardly specific to India; chilli peppers, which Europeans introduced to India; and meat, which Hindus don't eat. Brits have been eating it for centuries. I see no reason why it should be called Indian food. I don't touch it myself. I only eat steak and kidney pud followed by jam roly poly.
