@ And Drax relies on chopping down trees (CO2 factories) in the US, to have it shipped over to the UK in fuel oil powered ships to be burned to make electricity to go through the power loses to put it in a battery made in one of the most polluting counties in the world, so you can go sit in a grubby car park for 2 hours to suck it up and do 150 miles.

Ā @hopkin2006Ā EVs, and in fact anything with a lithium battery, is like a cell phone. They last a couple years max and need to be replaced. Unless the car manufacturers do the same as the cell phone manufacturers guaranteeing trade-in value with that brand, like iPhones, they will have no future. Technology lifecycle standards are 2-4 years for average and 4-6 years for top-of-the-line.
