  2.  @hopkin2006  EVs, and in fact anything with a lithium battery, is like a cell phone. They last a couple years max and need to be replaced. Unless the car manufacturers do the same as the cell phone manufacturers guaranteeing trade-in value with that brand, like iPhones, they will have no future. Technology lifecycle standards are 2-4 years for average and 4-6 years for top-of-the-line.
