Are social connections "heart" enough for you? You don't know me, so I'll demand you please stop with the assumptions about what values being taught to me. Just saying, being the one concerned, you are wrong about me. My comment might have not reflected it as much as I'd like, might have failed to "sell" (see above) you on who I am. Moving on. The romanticists were all intellectuals, as do the philosophers, philanthropists, artists and scientists that made Europe great, including architects like those of the Art Nouveau, Neogothic and Art Deco trends, even those from the Renaissance, prime exemple of an intellectual period, that people come from the world over to see. You shouldn't end (as this is where it leads it when one tries to forcibly reduce it) intellectualism on the altar of obscurantism with real human costs for mere vibes, least we repeat history's darkest chapters.

@Wouter10123 Was talking about the US playgrounds. In that context, yeah, stranger danger runs strong over there, less so in the Netherlands where, as you said, these little playgrounds are everywhere.

@simonestreeter1518 Because a bunch of students doing some personal summer school vision, on a movement that's been appropriated by the far-right and which has an image as some reactionnary anti-intellectual marginal complainers against what seem like rational and the norm for a reason, doesn't seem cool, mainstream or fitting enough for a newspaper article compared to more...headturning stuff happening in the world right now. Don't forget the human, there is no conspiracy, we're just not all on the same page on many things. Like someone else already said, there is a way to catch their attention and sell your pitch, doesn't seem like the right approach was taken.
