Who cares what the sister thinks? Why don't they have him on?
16
@karenshelton1240 the two girls who were reunited with their mothers had black adopting mothers/ parents, did you notice that? This was an all black staffed hospital, serving the black community. This particular situation was not involving white people. There have however been similar cases that occurred in European countries, involving white people. It's just so very sad! Hopefully more children and mothers can be connected. It's too bad that those involved likely won't ever face justice.

@DonFatherTrump the fact that records show a doner number 106, and not the doctor's sperm gives her a good case in my view.
5
@DonFatherTrump I think she's seeking to bond with donor 106 as she's looking for a father figure.. her own "father" died when she was 7 years old, so there's a void there. Both mother and daughter feel deceived by the doctor and that's not surprising. However, the mom made the decision to use a sperm donor so I feel she has a lot of responsibility for the outcome, which again, could've been a lot worse I believe.

Pyroman / same thing has happened in other countries to white women, and in USA as well
3
At least US is starting to screen. Crickets here in Canada.. RCMP is still carrying bags for migrants crossing in Quebec.
2
@DonFatherTrump that's true.. I think the larger crime is disclosed right at the beginning (that I don't think anyone mentioned) .. she was reading her mother's email! Had she not done that, this whole story would still be private. DNA testing that now is revealing so many skeletons in closets however, may have revealed this eventually in any case. The mother erred in not telling her daughter she was conceived by a doner. When one messes with mother nature, one must accept the consequences!

L B "you're" idiots 😉

This is where we're at; survival of the fittest. Those under 50 will be fine.
1
But it started in a fish market. Oh wait, they sell live animals there too 🤧
1
Switzerland and Austria both have cases now
1
I think warm climates are best, viruses don't so well there
1
You'd need an N-95 mask and change it every hour for it to be effective. One of those silly surgical masks is just decoration.
1
A virus can incubate for c. 2-21 days so a traveler may not be aware they've been exposed, that's why there's now cases in 4 countries and it's pretty much impossible to stop unless you totally shut the borders. That however poses other major issues.
1
Spoony G There's no vax for this
1
Spoony G Trudeau is busy trimming his new beard. He sent the RCMP back out to Lacolle Quebec where they're all still carrying the bags for the migrants as they cross.
1
Spoony G And not a peep out of Health Canada yet. No screening at airports here. They're waiting for the body count to go up, do far there's only 2. During SARS, Toronto had 44 deaths.
1
Spoony G Yup the scourge of big cities. Plus all diseases now are just a plane ride away. Take care of you and yours.
1
Over 300 cases now, and has spread to 5 countries. We started screening in 3 cities.. 7 dead
1
The fact that she's pretty is a bonus.. the most important thing by far however is the health history. Second would be the intelligence level and a distant third would be looks, in my opinion.
1
The father should've been granted custody.. lots of people have more money and can afford more, thats irrelevant.
1
@s0hail1 You don't get it at all, it's the optics. Canada will put the welcome mat out , Trudeau wants new voters, illegal or not
1
Lost Aquarian You'd rather have an unknown virus spread in the population? We had 44 die in Toronto during SARS, most of them were health care workers.
1
Lost Aquarian Must've replied to the wrong one, oops
1
This has been in the news for over a week now and still nothing official from Health Canada. I wonder if RCMP is still out there in Lacolle, helping the migrants with their bags. So cute!!
1
I had measles and all childhood illnesses and none of them were problematic. It's why I'm so healthy now, at 63, with lifetime immunity and not on any drugs at all. Your wife knows nothing.
1
No one has died from measles in the US in over 15 years and there've been several outbreaks, give me a break
1
I don't believe that 106s sperm wasn't viable. Who said that, the doctor? I bet he didn't even inject the sperm of 106, he pretended to, so that there was no pregnancy and then he used his. Given that he did this to several other women, I don't believe these donor sperm all happened to be nonviable!
1
There's no vax for this one
1
Who cares what the sister thinks, why don't they interview Robert??
1
Did you travel to China?
1
The virus hasn't been named, Corona virus is just a type of virus
1
Some people later find out their sperm donor was a drug addict and/or had mental health issues in spite of the mom choosing a PhD doner etc. While there is the shock factor of learning the doner is someone the mom knew, I agree with many of the comments posted;. It could've been a lot worse, you're lucky, get over yourself!!
1
You're sure that it was a donation the doctor made years ago? You trust what he says?? No way to prove any of it.
1
WHO didn't want to offend China. Money talks.
1
@BASEJUMPBR Yes, the US is still at the stage of trying to keep people calm and assuming they can control spread, but inevitably they'll find themselves facing the same situation as Italy, which most probably will become like Wuhan and Hubei. It's only a matter of time as people can incubate the virus and be contagious without knowing.
1
Just take 1,000 mgs vitamin C three x a day and 5,000 mgs vitamin D and you'll be fine. Keep some oil of oregano gel caps on hand and start taking them at the very first sign of symptoms or if you had contact with an infected person.
1
@givememore4free Well I've never had flu in my entire life, you? I rarely get sick, I went 3-4 years at a time without taking a sick day but I started using them as I was tired of picking up the slack at work for the others, for decades. I'm retired now. I take zero drugs and all my tests come back without any issues.
1
@givememore4free If you're not interested in this useful information, so be it. I'm betting many more seniors will find it to be of benefit given that there's no "cure" for Covid-19.
1
It's unknown how long the virus lives on surfaces, but if goods had virus on it and stayed stayed for days, the international spread would've been rapid and huge. It's not.
1
@whitewallsunderneath Extremely unlikely and improbable
1
SARS killed 44 here in Toronto in 2003. So far no screenings taking place at any Canadian airport. This virus will again enter North America via Vancouver/Toronto. Half of Vancouver is Asian, that's not an exaggeration.
1
It's too late
1
Problem is a person can be asymptomatic as their body incubates the virus as this can take c. 2-21 days depending.. so really, there's not much that can be done unless they stop flights.. but now they have cases in Japan, Thailand and Korea. It's too late.
1
L B that one slipped by, the spelling, but English isn't my first language, I speak 4.. still, you're right, no excuse 😜
