  3. You'd need an N-95 mask and change it every hour for it to be effective. One of those silly surgical masks is just decoration.

  4. A virus can incubate for c. 2-21 days so a traveler may not be aware they've been exposed, that's why there's now cases in 4 countries and it's pretty much impossible to stop unless you totally shut the borders. That however poses other major issues.

  17. SARS killed 44 here in Toronto in 2003. So far no screenings taking place at any Canadian airport. This virus will again enter North America via Vancouver/Toronto. Half of Vancouver is Asian, that's not an exaggeration.

  18. Problem is a person can be asymptomatic as their body incubates the virus as this can take c. 2-21 days depending.. so really, there's not much that can be done unless they stop flights.. but now they have cases in Japan, Thailand and Korea. It's too late.
