Did you happen to catch the spontaneous "Santa Claus" parade, downtown Toronto, I believe it was Dec. 2020, recoded and posted on YT?. This wasn't reported on mainstream news but it was extraordinary, very large, regular people marching, even some floats. Police walked alongside and didn't try to stop anyone despite this being completely against covid "rules" and blocking all traffic. The proper Santa parade occurs in late November and was cancelled for 2 or 3 years.
