@andrewfinlay5160 Delta plus is still very much in the minority and was detected a good 4 months ago, so it's not really a factor.

Congratulations, you all have a very high degree of immunity, even the asymptomatics! (Ask any immunologist). None of you needs a vaccine now. Keep good records of your previous infection for travel proof etc.

@yassine4982 So are alcoholics at fault? Drug addicts? We now know opioids are addictive so who's at fault when they get hooked? I think you underestimate the powerful addiction that sugar is. It stimulates the same part of the brain that cocaine does. Carbs have incorrectly been the mainstay of food pyramids for years.

Don't worry, it will reach your shores. It's an aerosolized virus and therefore inevitable. And vaccines aren't stopping it, merely lessening symptoms for 4-5 months, then boosters are needed.. without known long term safety data.

@missyrivas8623 I wouldn't classify the vast majority of paediatric cases as "severe".. most still have light symptoms, even asymptotic, a few experience more of an average head cold and a very small at risk number become hospitalized.
