  1. These workers were not housed properly (slept and ate together) etc. Many other migrant farm workers here in Ontario are just fine as their employers followed protocols.

  2. Just look at the countries that have been successful and emulate their practices:. Vietnam, Taiwan, and New Zealand. I prefer the Taiwan and Vietnam strategy whereby masks were mandated and worn at all times outside the home from very early on. The population accepts this practice and is accustomed to it. Vietnam had no deaths, Taiwan only 7. No schools or businesses were closed, only borders were shut. New Zealand used draconian full lockdown measures and did quite well also, but not as well and their economy suffered.

  3. Just look at the countries/jurisdictions that have been masking from early in January (Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong) and those who have not. Taiwan:7 deaths, Hong Kong 4, Vietnam zero. Schools and businesses open the whole time. USA? Over 110,000 deaths. Case closed. SHAME on Western countries!!

  4. Vietnam and Taiwan mandated mask wearing everywhere from day one and shut borders immediately. Taiwan has 442 cases and 7 deaths (all from returning travellers) while Vietnam had a few hundred cases, no deaths. Both kept schools and businesses open the entire time. I rest my case.

  5. Taiwan and Vietnam have done much better than Germany and they kept schools and businesses open the entire time but mandated mask wearing from January. Just 7 deaths for Taiwan and zero for Vietnam. SHAME on the west.

  8. Here on Canada it's worse. Our esteemed yet incompetent prime minister arranged to ship several tonnes of PPE to China in early February, leaving us without. Our borders were kept open well into March, and we were told up until May that mask wearing doesn't protect the wearer.
