  1. You cannot stop a tidal wave with sandbags and you'll never stop an aerosolized virus with anything either.. if you slow it down, it just returns as soon as you stop and you cannot hide forever. The countries that lock down only delay the inevitable.

  4. Many experts say an aerosolized virus cannot be held back and only delayed at best. It seems to me that's what we're seeing throughout the world. Either a region puts extreme lockdowns in place which are effective but decimates the economy and mental health or the virus is allowed to circulate while the vulnerable are protected and herd immunity slowly evolves. I see the latter as the only solution. Unfortunately the effective early treatments are being successfully suppressed in the west in order to allow vaccine development and eventually distribution, with unknown consequences. Many needless deaths and sufffering have resulted for the sake of Pharma profit.
