  1. I used to get hives off and on starting after age 55 and I never did find out the allergy source but eventually I read about vitamin C helping a lot, so I started taking it. Eventually through trial and error, I discovered the minimum amount I need to keep hives at bay is 3,000 mgs. I've even gone down to 2,000 but after a few months I would get a few so now I stay with 3,000. Perfect for Covid prevention too (as well as 5,000 iu vitamin D).
