  6. Ontario has had hospital capacity issues PRIOR to covid and therein lies the problem. Waits for joint replacement (18 months) and cancer care are already way too long and people have died from cardiac surgery postponement and more. This has only gotten worse since the pandemic as covid patients are prioritized.
