Taiwan didn't have any advanced information yet they did everything perfectly. When they saw cases of an odd illness in early January, they contacted the WHO for guidance but the WHO, being bought and controlled by CHINA, didn't respond. So Taiwan took action. Elementary schools and business stayed open (and are still open), highschool and Universities went online. Borders were shut immediately and mask wearing was also mandatory immediately. The population is very smart, they complied totally without any protest marches. So among their 24 million population they've had less than 500 cases and only 7 deaths. THATS HOW IT'S DONE.

I watched the situation with Covid as soon as I read about it in late December and I said to my husband "here comes SARS II". I was working in Toronto during that outbreak and our city was the only Western city affected. It was horrible to watch it unfold in January given the total lack of concern and preparedness and mistake after catastrophic mistake was made. Any idiot could see the borders needed to close by at least Feb 1st!!!

This is all about vaccine profits. They literally outspend 20:1 on vaccine advertising rather than on vaccine safety studies.

What did our Canadian Prima Donna Prime Minister do? He gave literally tons of PPE to China in February, clearly thinking the virus wouldn't be a problem here. We're still scrambling to keep supplies up for Long Term Care homes (they were caring for sick elderly people without protection) and hospitals were rationing supplies. He told us it was racist to stop flights from China. He didn't close borders and stop all but essential travel until late in March. He grew his hair out to look cool though.

@Ramesh-rg5xy Michigan has a higher average age, and many people with health issues and a very over weight population. You cannot compare Michigan to Sweden. And there's no universal health care so people are very sick before they seek care.

@Ramesh-rg5xy The death rate in Singapore is low. So what? Their testing rate is very high. Who knows how accurate the death stats are also. Look what Russia does and what's required to include a death as Covid caused. The death rate in Italy is high. I trust Italy before Singapore.
