You don't get it do you? They've known about this strain since September and are only revealing it now. Why? The vaccine roll out has also started just now. They want those on the fence to jump off and get in line.

@vrendus522 You didn't get my point. My point is it's not the scientists interpretations that has resulted in no Christmas for you, it's the spread and the death rate that has dictated further lockdown. Your country's numbers are worse than the US, and that's hard to achieve. We in Ontario, with fewer cases, fewer deaths and far more land mass to spread out are in full lockdown for an entire month.
