I got notification a few times on my android by our Canadian government that I should download this app. I was appalled they had the capability to send a text to my phone!! I'm definitely not going to download this.

I do t know of any country that has a high uptake of their Covid ap, maybe S Korea? In Canada very few have downloaded it since it became available July 31 and with so few people who have this so, it's pretty much useless. Many have privacy concerns.

That alone would prompt me not to download that app.

Africans take hydroxichloroquinine due to prevalence of malaria. They are not generally obese either and aren't addicted to sugar or junk food.

The app is ineffective unless a large percentage of people use it, which isn't happening anywhere. But no worries, herd immunity will be in effect by spring without a vaccine.

Why would you want to weaken your immune system with a mostly ineffective vaccine? Haven't you ever looked at the list of side effects on the insert? And some still contain thimerisol (mercury). Among the adverse events listed is MS and transverse myelitis.. sound familiar? That's because these appeared in 2 cases in the AstraZenica trial recently but both were deemed not to be caused by the shot. Now how would they know that after only a few days?? My friend's father died immediately following his flu shot while in hospital. No wonder.. this too is a listed side effect on the insert. I've never had a flu shot. Why would I? I've never had flu and I'm 64. I have a very impressive immune system and I'm rarely ill. I attribute that to only having had 3 vaccines yet having contracted all those mild childhood illnesses. We all know when children start daycare they have one thing after another early on until their immunity gets built up. Playing in dirt is a good thing too as we now know. I WILL NEVER TAKE A COVID VACCINE, that's just insane. By the time one is developed and widely available it will be spring and the pandemic will be over. THINK people!!

Do you trust that the data will be safe? Which agency or company has ever been able to do so? Or bothered to?

No one knows much about China, they claim to have so few new cases or deaths but that's hard to believe.

@Amy-dw7ii The CDC has long been corrupted, decades ago, when Pharma captured the agency. Why have we never seen a study comparing health outcomes of those who are vaccinated to those who are not? They have this data on millions of people. Why have they fully restricted access to their data by outside scientists? This is a publicly funded agency, they have no right to do that. What are they trying to hide??

@IamLinda_ And you think it's not tracking you? How confident are you that when covid is over, your information is safely discarded?

Everyone take D3, lots of C, and zinc.. add Quercetin too.. that's how to stay safe 🇨🇦

@jjbrostv7632 I agree, lockdowns should be brief and limited. Most countries did far too much except Sweden where they got it right (except for the care homes). But why on earth would you do all that travel during a pandemic?
1
@jjbrostv7632 It's true, hunkering down on a huge property with every amenity or on a yacht would be much more fun! My husband and I cancelled all travel plans this year mainly due to lack of health insurance coverage. Most if not all providers wouldn't cover cancelled flights nor any health care due to covid and that decided it for us. Just recently though I read that a few companies are once again offering it, so we shall see.

You won't get a high enough level of use of this app, it hasn't happened anywhere. What's needed is a really effective, rapid and accurate and very cheap strip test. Fortunately there is one being evaluated by the FDA and it should be on the market by end of Nov.

This so wouldn't be a good idea for me. Where I live (a town of 85,000) I Ontario, we get a case or 2 per week.
1
Good luck if you need health care. That's how I decide where to travel to.. how good is the health care and how safe is the food?

@Benaiah Ahmadinejad Most women are very appreciative of what she achieved for women's rights. And I'm not American, so don't start with your political BS.
